Freesat

Freesat is similar to Freeview only the reception is received via a satellite dish and LNB instead of a traditional TV aerial. With over 140 channels to choose from and new HD channels being added all the time, this is an ideal solution if you live in a fringe area and have poor TV reception through your aerial.

Channel line up does vary slightly to Freeview , these can be check on the respective web sites at freeview.co.uk or freesat.co.uk.

You will also need a Freesat receiver, there are 3 types of receiver, Freesat SD (Standard Definition), Freesat HD (High Definition) and Freesat HD PVR (High Definition with live pause and record facility).
